All I know is that I can go for a coffee by myself for 364 days of the year, but on February 14th I get reminded of what an undesirable I am and in most places get told to go to 7-11 for my cuppa. The only similar thing I have ever seen was in Paris about 6 hours before the Pope was arriving and everyone was running around spare checking rubbish bins like headless chooks. My Aussie query of whether anyone was checking if the orphanages were ok was not received with much warmth either.
